| Quik-Dry® is a new carpet cleaning system which uses carbonated water, colloquially known as mineral water or soda, in combination with other biodegradable ingredients to clean carpets and upholstery. The Quik-Dry® process generates natural mineral water in the form of millions of small, highly active bubbles, which wet the carpet or upholstery fibers, loosen soil and solubilize stains and propel them to the surface in order for them to be removed. |

| If you use the Quik-Dry® System for cleaning your carpets, you utilize the extraordinary capabilities of the product Carbonator® A and B. The Carbonator® is an innovative combination of 100 % safe and non-toxic actives. It contains 100% active ingredients. This is an important characteristic, since the carpet is a critical factor for indoor air quality (IAQ). Forget using surfactants, solvents or other ingredients that are detrimental to the environment. You will not be using these in carpet and uphostery cleaning when you use the Quik- Dry® System. Can other, well-known, carpet cleaning methods influence carpets in a negative manner? | |
| Yes, for example the sticky residue of some shampoos never dries completely. However, it sticks to every fiber and thus facilitates binding of dust and dirt to them. The result: the shampooed carpet becomes dirty more quickly. Extraction or steam cleaning can lead to overwetting of the carpet and thus result in extended drying times. This may result in dye wandering from the back of the carpet and may also cause odour-causing bacteria to grow and multiply. It may also lead to a shrinkage of the carpet backing or the dissolution of the adhesive. | |
Does the Quik-Dry® System use a lot of water? | |
| No. The Quik-Dry® System results in drying times of one or two hours because the high concentration of carbon dioxide in the water reduces the amount of water necessary for successful cleaning. Quik- Dry® does not allow your carpet to shrink, odourcausing bacteria to grow, or cause dissolution of the adhesive. | |
Does a carpet cleaned using the Quik-Dry® System remain clean longer? | |
| Yes. One of the biggest advantages of the Quik- Dry® System is that it does not leave a sticky residue behind. When the dirt, grease and stains have been removed, the remaining carbonated cleaning solution evaporates. Tests conducted in the laboratory and out in the field have shown that a carpet cleaned using the Quik-Dry® System remains clean for the same time as a newly installed carpet. | |
How long will it take to clean my carpet with the Quik- Dry® System? | |
| Carpets cleaned with the Quik-Dry® System usually dry within 60 minutes. Comparison to drying times using the shampoo or extraction method are convincing. Your upholstery may be placed on the cleaned carpet that much more quickly. Based on our experience, it does not take longer than two hours to clean the average 4-member household. | |
